This fine Black Hart piece is a copy of my favorite JP Beck rifle. This gun features high relief, low relief and incised carvings, a great patch box with hidden symbols and a release button through the butt plate. Test fired only (producing 1" 50 yd. group) the rifle has a swamped LC Rice 42" x .45 barrel with square bottom rifling. The large Siler/Chambers lock is color casehardened, the single trigger lets off at about 1 1/2 pounds. The 14" LOP , generous drop and large cheek piece make it the most comfortable stock design for me. The barrel is finished in a deep brown that will not reflect and the brass colors are muted on this hunting rifle. See 2 more views of it (pic022 - pic025) in the JP Beck folder. Priced right at $4399 OBO.
